• This is my first time writing a review about anything, but this has been the MOST EXCEPTIONAL service I have ever experienced in ANY transaction, so I feel like telling everybody!

  I was pretty skeptical when I signed up with Reozom and therefore had a somewhat casual attitude about whether this would work. I have sold 7 houses in the past 20 years (I like to move) and would never have considered using this non-traditional arrangement, but my husband and I were curious about the service, and figured we had nothing to lose by giving it a try.

  From minute one, Justin was helping me every step of the way. He was available WITHIN MINUTES of my emails and phone calls, day and night, weekdays and weekends. He happily tolerated all of my mistakes, my stupid questions, fixed errors that I made in the listing, etc. The buyers of my home had a ‘part time agent that just does this on the side’ who barely communicated anything with me, even when the buyer’s loan application process was drawn out and complicated. Justin was there with me through all of this. Titleocity was also absolutely amazing, Michele called me every week to check in and see if I needed anything, even when there was nothing to report. She too happily tolerated my stupid questions and organized closing with a little more than 24 hours notice. Justin gave me the confidence to purchase my new home without the use of a traditional agent. I saved thousands of dollars using Reozom, and without question will come back to this service the next time I need it. Thank you so much for everything Justin and team! • Why does anyone pay a listing agent anymore? The only thing you need is to get listed on MLS to be seen by anyone and everyone. Reozom puts you on MLS which also feeds into realtor.com and Zillow. I chose to offer the buyer's agent 2% for bringing me a buyer and at my price point, it was still a good payday for the agent and broker.

• The best for sale by owner there is! Reozom is a very professional and customer service oriented company. They offer way more than a traditional for sale by owner company. Their web site is very user friendly and they are almost always available by email, phone or online chat to help you with any questions you may have. I feel that we got way more than we paid for. The staff is very knowledgeable and responds quickly to any questions or inquires you may have during the process. Your closing documents are generated via their web site. I love that everything was automated and that realtors could book showings through the website rather than calling me. I set up if I wanted to receive notifications via text and/or email and was instantly notified of requests for showings and feedback. They made selling my home a good experience and we saved over $10,000 by using Reozom. I highly recommend and trust this company with my future business.

• After listing my house for a year with a realtor without success, I decided to give Reozom a try, as the previous sellers of my house had used this service as well. I was a bit nervous about trying to do this on my own, but I am so happy I took the chance and decided to go this route. The folks at Reozom were all incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions I had about the process. As they explain on their website, you pay the flat listing fee up front which will get your home on the MLS, realtor.com, Zillow, etc. You are responsible for taking pictures (I recommend hiring a professional photographer), writing up all the details on your home, and setting the price & commission. One note on this is that Reozom is not going to do any sort of comparative analysis or provide advice on what price you should list the house at – that’s on you to figure out, but with the internet at your disposal you should be able to get a good grasp on the value of your home. Also, any sort of negotiations will fall on you as well, so that’s why I can’t rate them for Local Knowledge or Negotiation Skills. You can pay for a sign for your front yard, and a lockbox for potential buyers to get in the house. Once the listing is up, it’s on you to coordinate showings – generally realtors will call you asking about a time they can show, or they can put in requests through the Reozom site. I ended up being able to lower the price on my house since I was saving on the seller’s commission, and had a legitimate offer within 3 days of listing, which was fantastic. We closed about two months later, and I ended up saving around $7,000 by using this service. I would say as long as you have a general understanding of how real estate transactions work, and also feel confident on the price (setting the initial listing price correctly is the most important thing you can do to succeed in selling), I would highly recommend using this service. The buyer’s agent (if they have one) will do a lot of the work since generally it’s the whole process of obtaining a mortgage that seems to require the most time, and also choose a good title company that’s clear about all of their costs (Reozom has one they recommend, although I did not use that company). I believe that the whole process of real estate buying/selling is broken, as I have for the most part had negative experiences working with realtors, so I believe this company is on to something with this model. Paying two different realtor brokerages 6% (or whatever you agree to) commission is obscene in my opinion, and I’m happy to pay a fee up front to use Reozom’s service. They are also very on top of the technology side of real estate, which they utilize to reduce their costs. I suggest that if you’re on the fence with going this route, give these folks a call and discuss your situation with them, and they’ll be able to provide guidance on how their system works. It felt good being able to do this on my own and save a lot of money, so I am recommending this service to all of my friends who are considering selling and I hope Reozom continues to be successful!

• After listing my condo for sale by owner on Zillow, I received a call from Reozom explaining their procedure to sell. for a flat fee of 285.00 I was able to have the listing on the MLS. If you are looking for a flat rate listing agent, you need to hire someone who is doing business in your state/area and not someone who contracts it out. Reozom handles all your transactions directly and they pass all leads on to you. Some of the flat rate brokers may keep sales leads for themselves, so be aware.
